Conquer the Cold with a Can-Am Defender HD8 Cab Heater
Your Can-Am Defender HD8 was built for year-round work and adventure. SuperATVs Cab Heater taps into the engines coolant system and provides automotive-style heat inside your cab. It uses your Defender HD8s key-on and power terminals; so the electrical connection stays simple. The complete kit contains hoses; drill bits; and model-specific mounting plates to make installation as painless as possible. Multiple fan speeds and adjustable temperature controls help you stay comfortable in any winter weather.
Defrost Your Defender HD8 Windshield
The heater includes two vents in the main unit; plus a dedicated defrost vent and hoses. This system helps remove snow; ice; and fog from your windshield for a clearer view. Dash-mounted defrost vents create a neat; factory-quality appearance.
Stay Comfortable in Any Temperature
Every part of this cab heater is made to handle tough conditions. The premium radiator hoses have a temperature range of -40F to 285F. They stand up to severe cold outside and extreme heat under the hood. The result is dependable warmth that makes every winter ride more enjoyable.
Give the Back Row Some Heat
Add the optional second-row heater so your rear passengers dont get left in the cold. The kit comes with everything required and mounts directly in front of the center seat. Easy-to-reach temperature and fan controls let back-row riders adjust the heat to suit them.
Warm Up Faster with a Quick-Start Flow Valve
Install a quick-start flow valve to cut heater warm-up time in half. The valve sends all engine coolant through the heater core before the engine reaches full operating temperature. It opens automatically as the engine heats up and allows coolant to return to the radiator.
Feel Heat in About 30 Seconds with an Idle Flow Pump
An idle flow pump can push warm air into your cab in as little as 30 seconds. It supports coolant circulation through the engine and speeds up heat production at idle or low speed.
Quick-Start Flow Valve Idle Flow Pump Gets you heated air twice as fast Warms up heater in under 30 seconds Diverts coolant to your heater core at low temps Actively pumps coolant at idle to increase heater temps Only one quick-start flow valve needed for front- and second-row heaters Only one idle flow pump needed for front- and second-row heaters Combine our Quick-Start Flow Valve and Idle Flow Pump for maximum heat as quickly as possible when youre slow or idle.
Boost Performance with a Grille Cover
Add a grille cover to shield your radiator from frigid outside air. It allows coolant temperatures to rise faster; which helps your heater produce warm air sooner. The PVC-backed polyester material is tough; and the cover attaches or detaches quickly. Remove it whenever temperatures climb above freezing to prevent engine overheating.
Finish Your Full Cab Enclosure
A sealed cab helps your heater work at its best. Add full doors; a roof; and front and rear windshields to keep more warmth inside your UTV.
