Add More Stability with a Rear Offset The design of these Can-Am Defender control arms gives you an additional 1.5 of ground clearance. With increased ground clearance; you can roll over logs and boulders that used to cause you all sorts of trouble. And they come with a 1.5 rear offset; adding length to your wheelbase by moving the wheel hubs 1.5 backward. The offset allows you to run up to 30 tires without adding a lift kit.
