Reinforce a Known Weak Point Assault Industries designed this Radius Rod Double Shear Bracket Kit to address a common issue found on Can-Am Maverick X3 X RS models. Over time; wear at the center radius rod mounting hole in the rear knuckle can lead to excess play and unwanted suspension movement. The double shear design adds strength and support to this critical mounting location; helping reduce stress on the factory hardware and knuckle.
Protect Handling and Suspension Components As the factory mounting hole wears; it can become elongated and alter rear toe alignment. This condition may cause rear-wheel drag; accelerated tire wear; and additional stress on surrounding suspension components. In severe cases; the mounting bolt can shear completely; allowing uncontrolled toe-angle movement that can significantly impact vehicle handling. Installing a double shear bracket helps reinforce the mounting point and reduce the likelihood of these issues developing.
